Studio snap shot

studio photograph showing paintings on paper by robert egert executed June, 2010 in Garnerville NY using blue and white tempera paint on newsprint
For the past year or more I have been working in a very controlled manner using chalk on paper. Every now and then I get the urge to explore other ways of creating images. This is both to keep things fluid and also to generate new ideas. These pieces were done simultaneously over the course of two or three sessions in the beginning of June, 2010. THey are not complete but I do like the direction and I'm considering mounting them on board so they will be able to take more paint on the surface.
